Book your train tickets online in advance, especially during high season. This secures your spot and helps you avoid long queues at the ticket counter.
Be sure to check the live webcam from Jungfraujoch before you depart. If the weather is bad and visibility is zero, the expensive trip isn't worth the money.
Allow plenty of time for the journey. The cogwheel train ride from Grindelwald or Lauterbrunnen via Kleine Scheidegg is an experience in itself.
