In summer, try a tart made from the famous Valais apricots, available in local bakeries.

Water temperature…
Ovronnaz is situated on a sunny southern terrace above the Rhone Valley and is famous for its thermal springs. The 'Thermalp' spa center provides indoor and outdoor pools with views of the impressive Muverans rock face. The mineral-rich waters are well-suited for recovery after a day in the mountains. The region's microclimate is particularly mild, favoring viticulture on the lower slopes near Leytron. In summer, Ovronnaz is a paradise for hikers, with trails leading to the Cabane Rambert or around the Grand Muveran. The hike to the 'Sept Lacs' (Seven Lakes) is especially popular. In winter, the resort transforms into a compact but challenging ski area reaching up to 2,500 meters, known for its reliable snow conditions. The combination of 'bathing and skiing' is the unique selling point of Ovronnaz. Access is via the A9 motorway to Riddes and then up a well-maintained mountain road that winds through vineyards.
