Dzhubga
Dzhubga is one of the most accessible resorts on the Black Sea coast, located precisely where the highway from Krasnodar reaches the shore. Often called the 'Gateway to the Sea', it is a favorite for road trippers and families. The resort features a mix of sandy and pebble beaches, with the Blue Bay (Golubaya Bukhta) being highly prized for its crystal-clear water and scenic surroundings. The lush Caucasian mountains provide an impressive backdrop and refreshing breeze during hot summer days. The historical crown jewel of Dzhubga is its massive stone dolmen, a prehistoric megalithic tomb dating back to the 3rd millennium BC, located right within the town. For entertainment, the town features one of the largest water parks in the region, offering thrills for all ages. Hikers can enjoy trails leading to nearby waterfalls and through dense broadleaf forests. The local culinary scene is rich with Caucasian flavors, featuring traditional shashlik and fresh local produce. The best time to visit is from May to October. Dzhubga is a lively hub with numerous cafes, street markets, and souvenir shops that create a bustling seaside atmosphere. Despite its popularity, quiet spots can still be found in the smaller neighboring coves. Its blend of easy accessibility, ancient mysteries, and modern recreational facilities makes it a well-rounded destination.
