Purcari

Purcari is a name synonymous with Moldovan wine excellence, located in the Ștefan Vodă district near the Dniester River. Established in 1827 by a special decree of Emperor Nicholas I, the winery achieved global fame in 1878 when its 'Negru de Purcari' won a gold medal at the Paris World Expo.
