Naafkopf (Liechtenstein)

Weather…

Naafkopf is a prominent mountain peak in the Rätikon range, reaching an elevation of 2,570 meters. Its primary significance lies in its location as a tripoint (Dreiländereck) between the Principality of Liechtenstein, Austria (Vorarlberg), and Switzerland (Graubünden). The mountain features three ridges, each leading into one of the three respective countries, making it a geographically unique point in the Alps. The summit is a popular destination for mountaineers and hikers, with the standard route passing through the nearby Pfälzerhütte mountain hut, located at 2,108 meters at the base of the mountain. The first documented survey of the peak took place in the mid-19th century. The view from the summit encompasses the Samina Valley, the Montafon region, and large portions of the Graubünden Alps, making Naafkopf one of the most visited vantage points in the area.
