Constructed between 1716 and 1730 by Baron Jean-François L'Huillier, this monumental palace is world-renowned for its exceptional rococo fresco cycle painted by Ferenc Lieb, which adorns seven main rooms with vivid depictions of 18th-century noble life and mythological themes. The palace stands on a unique island formed by the branches of the Bódva River and is surrounded by a sprawling English landscape garden.
