Lysá nad Labem, a town in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic, is picturesquely situated on the banks of the Elbe River. The town is most famous for its magnificent Baroque chateau, closely associated with Count Franz Anton von Sporck, a major patron of the arts in the 18th century. The chateau, along with its extensive park adorned with sculptures by the renowned Matthias Braun, forms the cultural heart of the town. It stands as an outstanding example of Bohemian Baroque architecture and landscape design. In addition to its historical heritage, Lysá nad Labem is also a modern hub for events. Its exhibition grounds (Výstaviště Lysá nad Labem) are one of the largest in the country, attracting numerous visitors throughout the year with a variety of exhibitions, fairs, and events on topics such as horse breeding, gardening, and housing.
