Trn is located in the southernmost part of Croatia, in the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, near the mouth of the Neretva River. The village is part of the Slivno municipality and has a unique blend of river landscape and coastal flair. The entire region is known as the 'Croatian California' because the fertile delta is perfectly suited for growing citrus fruits, especially mandarins. Visitors appreciate Trn for its quiet location and wide-open views over the Adriatic Sea and the Pelješac Peninsula. The village architecture is traditional Dalmatian, with stone houses often terraced along the hillsides. A special experience is the mandarin harvest season in autumn, when the entire area glows in golden colors and visitors can participate in the picking.
