Blace is located directly at the meeting point of the Neretva River and the Adriatic Sea. This geographical feature creates a fascinating landscape of sandbars and shallow waters. The village has evolved into one of the top destinations for kitesurfing in Croatia, thanks to the consistent winds and extensive shallow areas. The region is also known as the 'Garden of Croatia'. In the fertile Neretva valley, vast quantities of mandarins, watermelons, and citrus fruits are grown, which can be purchased fresh from roadside stands everywhere. For nature enthusiasts, the delta gives numerous channels that can be explored using traditional boats known as 'lađa', allowing for the observation of rich birdlife. Blace is a quiet spot, offering a well-suited blend of active holidays and relaxed living in nature.
