The place has a wide panoramic view of the Adriatic and the Elaphiti Islands. It is a traditional residential area that has retained its rural character despite its proximity to the city. The architecture is characterized by terraced gardens and old stone houses. The area is known for its good air quality and tranquility. Hiking trails lead from here further into the mountain massif on the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina. The proximity to the source of the Ombla, one of the shortest rivers in the world, provides additional leisure opportunities.
