Port of Brčko (Bosnia and Herzegovina)

Weather…

The Port of Brčko (Luka Brčko), as the only international river port in Bosnia and Herzegovina, occupies an exceptional strategic position for the transport of goods. Located on the navigable course of the Sava River, it acts as a crucial trimodal logistics hub where waterways, railways, and road networks seamlessly intertwine. Through this connection, the port provides the Bosnian economy direct, cost-effective access to the Danube and thus indirectly to the Black Sea and the major European inland waterways. In recent years, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has provided considerable financial resources to fundamentally modernize the partially outdated port infrastructure, renew port cranes, and expand road and rail connections to the port area.
