Access to this remote national park strictly requires a rugged four-wheel-drive vehicle, as the incoming roads are extremely rough and unpaved. The journey there is an adventure in itself and demands careful navigation through wild terrain.

The dry season is absolutely the best time to travel, as the dense forest tracks are passable and wildlife is somewhat easier to spot. During the wet season, the unpaved access roads frequently become entirely impassable and muddy.
