Getting there
Jebel Dhanna is located on the coast of Abu Dhabi and is easily accessible via the well-developed E11 highway toward Ruwais. The drive from Abu Dhabi city takes about two and a half hours by car across flat desert terrain.
Best season
The best time to visit is from November to March, when temperatures are pleasant and a cool breeze blows from the sea. During the summer months, there is often oppressive heat with extremely high humidity, making outdoor activities difficult.
Terrain & paths
The elevation is rather moderate and consists of rocky desert soil with limestone formations directly on the coast. The terrain is partially shaped by industrial oil facilities but still has striking views of the Arabian Gulf.
What to bring
