The Razumovsky Palace in Baturyn is a masterpiece of Neoclassical architecture, serving as a testament to the final golden age of the Cossack Hetmanate in the late 18th century. Built between 1799 and 1803 for the last Hetman of Ukraine, Kirill Razumovsky, the palace was designed by the renowned Scottish architect Charles Cameron. The three-story residence is characterized by its harmonious proportions and a monumental eight-column portico reflecting the Palladian style popular in Europe at the time. Following Razumovsky's death in 1803, the palace remained unfinished and fell into disrepair for over two centuries until a comprehensive restoration was completed in the early 2000s. Today, it is the centerpiece of the "Hetman Capital" National Historical and Cultural Reserve, housing extensive exhibits on Cossack history and statehood. Located on a high terrace overlooking the Seim River, the palace remains one of Ukraine's most significant aristocratic estates.
