The Cathedral of Saint Lawrence (Cattedrale di San Lorenzo) in Lugano is the most significant religious building in the city and serves as the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Lugano. Crafted from white Carrara marble and limestone, this facade is regarded as one of the finest examples of Renaissance architecture in Switzerland.
