Ozorków, located in the Łódź Voivodeship, is a town whose history and development are intrinsically linked to the rise of the textile industry in the 19th century. Once a small village, it grew rapidly to become a major center for cotton and wool production, attracting German industrialists and workers. This heritage is still visible in the town's architecture today, with impressive former factory complexes, factory owners' villas, and workers' housing creating a unique urban fabric. Although industry is more diversified now, the spirit of that era remains present. Points of interest include the neoclassical St. Joseph's Church and the old Jewish cemetery. The town is conveniently located just 20 kilometers north of Łódź, easily accessible by car or public transport. A visit to Ozorków has an insight into Poland's industrial revolution. The best time to visit is from late spring to early autumn for pleasant weather.
