Weather…

Bait Al Zubair Museum is a private museum located in Old Muscat that preserves and displays Oman's rich cultural and historical heritage. Founded in 1998 by the Zubair family, it is housed in a beautifully restored traditional Omani house. The collection, originally amassed by Sheikh Al Zubair bin Ali, a former minister, includes an impressive variety of artifacts, including traditional weapons like khanjars and swords, jewelry, clothing, household items, and historical documents. The museum is divided into several buildings, including the main Bait Al Bagh, Bait Al Dalaleel which showcases a restored 19th-century Omani house, and a gallery for contemporary art. An outdoor miniature Omani village and a traditional aflaj irrigation system are also part of the complex. The museum provides a fascinating insight into the Omani way of life throughout history.
