The Tikveš wine region, centered in the town of Kavadarci, is the largest and most significant viticultural hub in the Balkans. Where to view it
An excellent viewpoint is the road from Kavadarci to Demir Kapija, which runs through the vineyards. From the viewpoint on the hills above Lake Tikveš, you have a spectacular view over the entire wine region.
