Plage Blanche

Plage Blanche (the White Beach) stretches for over 40 kilometers along the desolate Atlantic coast south of Guelmim. It is one of Morocco’s most untouched locations, where massive Saharan dunes slope directly into the sea. Access requires a 4x4 vehicle and typically begins from the towns of Guelmim or Sidi Ifni. Knowing the tide tables is essential if you plan to drive on the sand. Travelers must bring all their own supplies, including water and fuel, as there are no services. The best time to visit is during spring or autumn. Plage Blanche is not a typical sunbathing destination but a place for adventurers and nature lovers. The constant wind and fine sand create a surreal, ever-changing atmosphere.
