Rabat Zoo

The Rabat Zoo, formally known as the National Zoological Garden of Morocco, is a premier wildlife conservation center that opened its current facilities in January 2012. Located on the southern outskirts of the capital, the park spans an expansive area of 50 hectares, making it one of the largest in Africa. The zoo's design is centered around the replication of five distinct African ecosystems: the Atlas Mountains, the Desert, the Savannah, the Tropical Forest, and the Wetlands.
