Reaching this pretty destination usually involves following rural routes in northern Moldova towards the Ciuhur river basin. The final approach generally requires walking down naturally formed trails that lead directly to the waterfall.
Best season
Spring is unequivocally the best time to visit, as the melting snows and rains maximize the flow of the cascading waterfall. During late summer, the water levels in the small Ciuhur river may drop significantly, diminishing the cascade's impact.
