The Silver Forest is reachable via local roads in the Glodeni District heading towards the Prut River floodplain. Access points generally branch off from nearby villages directly into the woodland edge.
Best season
Spring and summer are best to experience the shimmering foliage of the dominant white poplars. Access might be temporarily restricted in early spring due to seasonal flooding from the nearby Prut River.
Terrain & paths
The ground is mostly flat floodplain terrain crisscrossed by small trails and seasonal waterways. Paths can be very soft, muddy, and covered with dense undergrowth, requiring careful navigation.
What to bring
