Laidi Manor, located in the Kuldīga district, was constructed in the early 19th century (circa 1800-1810) in the Classicist architectural style. It served as the prestigious residence for the Count Lambsdorff family, showcasing the elegant symmetry and harmonious proportions typical of the era. The manor house is characterized by a prominent portico and refined decorative masonry on its facade. The estate includes a well-preserved complex of outbuildings, such as stables and barns, all designed to complement the main building's architectural aesthetic. The surrounding landscape park was meticulously planned to incorporate natural water features and long, shaded alleys of ancient trees. In Latvian history, Laidi is also significant as an educational site, having housed a school for many decades during the 20th century. The preservation of its original layout and certain interior decorative elements makes it an outstanding example of early 19th-century Baltic German manor design.
