Tabiat Bridge (Iran)

Weather…

The Tabiat Bridge in Tehran is the largest pedestrian bridge in Iran, connecting the Abo-Atash and Taleghani parks across the Modarres Expressway. Designed by architect Leila Araghian, the structure was constructed between 2010 and 2014. The bridge spans 270 meters and features three distinct levels that house various observation decks and dining areas. The curved steel construction was designed to mimic natural forms and emphasize the ecological significance of the surrounding green spaces. For its innovative architecture, the bridge received the prestigious Aga Khan Award for Architecture in 2016. Today, it serves not only as a transit route but also as a major public space for the residents of the capital city.
