Milad Tower (Iran)

Weather…

The Milad Tower, also known as the Tehran Tower, stands at 435 meters, making it the tallest structure in Iran and the sixth tallest telecommunications tower in the world. Opened in 2008, it is a key component of the Tehran International Trade and Cultural Center. The tower consists of five main parts: the foundation, the lobby building, the shaft, the head structure, and the antenna mast. The twelve-story head structure houses the world's largest revolving restaurant at its height, along with both enclosed and open observation decks. Its architecture combines modern high-tech engineering with subtle Persian design motifs, particularly in the octagonal base of the shaft. Beyond its functional role in radio and television broadcasting, the complex serves as a major cultural hub, featuring conference halls, museums, and exhibition spaces. The top of the tower provides an unparalleled panoramic view of the vast metropolis of Tehran and the adjacent Alborz mountain range. Its night-time illumination ensures that the tower is visible from nearly every district of the capital city.
