Sonamarg

Sonamarg, meaning 'Meadow of Gold,' is a sweeping alpine valley in Kashmir, situated along the banks of the Sindh River. It serves as the gateway to Ladakh, marking the transition from the lush greenery of Kashmir to the stark high-altitude desert beyond the Zoji La pass.
