Weather…

Kombolcha Industrial Park was officially opened in July 2017 as part of Ethiopia plan to build several industrial zones along its key economic corridors. Located in the Amhara region, the park covers 75 hectares in its first phase and focuses primarily on the textile and apparel export sectors. The facility was constructed by the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation and includes 13 modern factory sheds. It is strategically positioned near the Kombolcha airport and the new railway project, enhancing its connectivity to the Port of Djibouti. The park aims to provide employment for thousands of local residents and contribute to the diversification of the national economy. With its dedicated power substation and reliable infrastructure, it has attracted investors from countries like South Korea and Italy. The development represents a significant step in the industrialization of the northern corridor.
