Knudshoved Odde is a narrow, 15-kilometer-long peninsula located on the southern coast of Zealand, west of Vordingborg. Geologically, it is one of Denmark's most striking lateral moraines, formed by the advance of a branch of the Baltic glacier during the Weichselian glaciation. Surrounded by water on nearly all sides, with the Avnø Fjord to the north and Smålandsfarvandet to the south, the area exhibits high coastal dynamics and erosion patterns.
