Topid is a quiet hamlet in the Raša municipality, in the eastern part of the Istrian peninsula. The area around Topid is known for its hilly landscape and the dense forests surrounding the village. Here you can find the authentic Istria, where people still live in harmony with nature and maintain traditional crafts. The village consists of a small group of stone houses, some of which have been renovated and converted into pleasant holiday accommodations. It is a place for individualists seeking peace and who enjoy hiking or mountain biking. The paths around the village repeatedly offer views of the Raša valley and the sea in the distance. The history of the region is closely linked to mining in the nearby town of Raša, but Topid always remained agricultural. Today, visitors especially appreciate the organically produced food from local farmers, from olive oil to honey and herbs. The coast near Rabac with its white pebble beaches is only about 15-20 minutes away by car. The medieval Labin on the hill also features cultural highlights and a lively art scene. Topid is thus the good retreat after a day at the beach or a sightseeing tour.
