Sevid is a small, photogenic village on the central Dalmatian coast, belonging to the Marina municipality. The settlement is located on a narrow peninsula, meaning the sea is visible from almost every point in the village and reachable in just a few steps. Sevid is the epitome of a quiet summer holiday; there are no large hotels, loud discos, or mass tourism. Instead, visitors find modern apartments and villas, often situated directly on the waterfront. The sea around Sevid is considered some of the cleanest in the region, making the place a paradise for snorkelers and divers. The coastline is characterized by rocky and pebble beaches, as well as hidden bays like Stari Trogir Bay, where ancient Roman ruins can be found right on the shore. Culinarily, Sevid relies on self-catering or the few local konobas offering fresh fish and Dalmatian specialties. A small grocery store covers daily needs, emphasizing the secluded character of the place. For excursions, the nearby UNESCO city of Trogir (approx. 25 km) or characterful Rogoznica are excellent options. Hikers can climb Oštrika Hill, which provides a dramatic panoramic view of the Šibenik and Split archipelago. Sevid is well-suited for families with children or couples who want to leave civilization behind for a few days. When the sun sets, the village features an almost magical silence, interrupted only by the gentle lapping of waves against the rocks.
