Koh Rong Sanloem (also spelled Samloem) is situated just south of Koh Rong and has a much quieter, laid-back atmosphere compared to its neighbor. Saracen Bay is the main arrival point and the focal point of accommodation, featuring calm, shallow waters perfectly suited for swimming and relaxing. The western side of the island hides Lazy Beach and Sunset Beach, accessible via jungle trails, where visitors can witness spectacular tropical sunsets in near-total isolation. The island strongly appeals to couples, families, and travelers looking to disconnect, as there are no roads and limited Wi-Fi connectivity. Scuba diving and snorkeling around the nearby coral reefs are highly popular activities. The dry season from November to May is idyllic for visiting, ensuring sunny days and clear waters.
