Leuze-en-Hainaut is a city in the Walloon province of Hainaut, located at the intersection of major transport axes between Lille and Brussels. The city has a long industrial tradition, shaped particularly by textile manufacturing and brewing. An outstanding architectural heritage is the Collegiate Church of Saint-Pierre, an impressive 18th-century Baroque building richly decorated with wood carvings. Leuze is internationally known for the Dubuisson brewery, founded in 1769 and considered one of the oldest breweries in Wallonia; it produces the famous 'Bush Beer.' The city's economic structure has evolved and now hosts modern logistics centers and food processing plants. Culturally and historically, the town is also linked to automotive history, as the 'Mahymobiles' museum houses one of the world's most significant collections of historical vehicles. Every year, the city hosts a major festival of brotherhoods celebrating local traditions and products. Despite modernization, Leuze retains a typical Walloon charm with its brick buildings and extensive agricultural areas in the surroundings.
