The Church of the Holy Trinity in the small village of Herviaty is one of the most spectacular architectural wonders in Belarus, frequently and affectionately referred to as the 'Belarusian Notre-Dame' due to its sweeping beauty. Constructed between 1899 and 1903, this Catholic church is an absolute masterpiece of Neo-Gothic architecture. With its graceful, soaring spire reaching a height of 61 meters, it stands as one of the tallest religious buildings in the entire country. The red brick exterior is heavily adorned with classic pointed arches, delicate tracery windows, and flying buttresses. Equally impressive as the structure itself is the meticulously landscaped garden that surrounds it. This pristine arboretum features rare exotic plants, lively flowerbeds, and twelve masterfully crafted life-size statues depicting the Apostles, creating a truly magical atmosphere.
