Cua Lo
Cua Lo is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful beach destinations in North-Central Vietnam, located about 18 kilometers from Vinh City. The town has a striking ten-kilometer stretch of white sand beach, uniquely shaded by rows of lush pine trees along the coast. A key attraction is Hon Ngu Island, reachable by a quick boat trip, offering pristine natural scenery and secluded coves. Visitors are drawn to Cua Lo for its exceptionally clean water and calm sea conditions, making it first-rate for water sports like kayaking and jet skiing. A local specialty is night squid fishing, where tourists can join fishermen on their boats for a hands-on experience. The dining scene is dominated by fresh seafood markets and open-air restaurants along Binh Minh Street. The best time to visit is between April and August when the sea is clear and the sun is bright. It is easily reached via Vinh, which has an airport and a train station.
