Yuzhmash (PA Yuzhny) in Dnipro is the heart of the Ukrainian aerospace industry and one of the world's most significant rocket-building centers. Founded in 1944, the enterprise became the Soviet Union's primary manufacturer of intercontinental ballistic missiles during the Cold War.
