Workers House is a prominent high-rise building located in the central business district of Kampala, Uganda. Situated in a prime location on Pilkington Road, near Constitution Square, the building stands as a symbol of the nation's post-independence economic development. It is owned by the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) of Uganda and houses its headquarters, as well as offices for numerous other corporations and organizations. Standing at 19 stories, it was one of the tallest buildings in the city upon its completion in 2001. The architecture is functional and modern, featuring a glass curtain wall facade that is a defining feature of the Kampala skyline. The construction of Workers House was a significant project, aimed at providing prime office space and honouring the contributions of Ugandan workers, whose savings through the NSSF funded the project. The building remains a major hub for commerce and administration, reflecting the growth of the formal sector and urban infrastructure in Uganda.
