Nearby lie the ruins of the ancient city of Selge, once a significant mountain fortress in the Taurus range. Today, the park is a premier destination for outdoor adventure, particularly white-water rafting and canyoning. Getting there
The canyon is located about 90 km northeast of Antalya and is best reached by private car or as part of an organized rafting tour from coastal resorts.

The peak season is from May to October when the water levels and weather are well-suited for rafting; early spring can be quite chilly due to the ice-cold river water.

The canyon features high limestone walls and a wild river; the surrounding area is covered with cedar and pine forests with some rocky trails for hiking.
