Adétikopé Industrial Platform (PIA) (Togo)

Weather…

The Adétikopé Integrated Industrial Platform (PIA) is Togo's most ambitious recent industrial project. Inaugurated in 2021, the platform is located approximately 15 kilometers north of Lomé and spans an initial area of 400 hectares. PIA is a public-private partnership between the Togolese government and Arise IIP, aimed at massively promoting the local processing of raw materials such as cotton, soy, and cashew nuts. The zone includes modern industrial facilities, a dry port for logistics, and specialized factories for textile manufacturing. By establishing factories directly within the country, Togo aims to increase value addition and create thousands of new jobs for its young population. The platform provides companies attractive tax incentives and world-class infrastructure with reliable energy supplies. PIA acts as a catalyst for Togo's economic transformation and is intended to turn the nation into a regional industrial hub. The project is also designed with sustainability in mind, integrating ecological standards into industrial production.
