Weather…

CIMTOGO (Ciments du Togo) in Lomé is the country's first and longest-established cement plant. Founded in 1964 as a public-private partnership, the factory was created to meet the growing demand for construction materials in the newly independent Republic of Togo. It is located in the industrial zone of the Port of Lomé, which facilitates the import of clinker and gypsum and the export of finished cement to neighboring countries. Today, CIMTOGO is a subsidiary of Heidelberg Materials and features state-of-the-art grinding facilities. The plant plays a vital role in national infrastructure development, supplying cement for major projects such as roads, bridges, and housing developments. With an annual capacity of over one million tons, the factory contributes significantly to economic stability and industrial value in the capital region. CIMTOGO is also active in social responsibility projects and is increasingly focusing on environmentally friendly production technologies to reduce its carbon footprint.
