Garachico is freely accessible. The natural lava pools (Piscinas Naturales) can be visited free of charge, as can the historic old town with its cobbled streets and old harbor.

The lava pools are accessible around the clock. Shops and restaurants have typical hours (usually 10 am-2 pm and 5 pm-10 pm). Churches only open during service times.
