The absolute highlight is the Chogok Yonggul Candle Rock Trail, a wooden boardwalk winding along the cliffs that leads to an impressive glass skywalk suspended over the crashing waves. Right nearby is Yonghwa Beach, the starting point for the famous Samcheok Ocean Railbike, which takes visitors through pine forests and tunnels directly alongside the shore. Munam Beach has a slightly more serene environment, excellent for relaxing after a day of activities. The entire region is famed for its emerald waters and dramatic coastal formations.
