Namysłów, in the Opole Voivodeship, is one of the oldest towns in Silesia. The town is proud of its 14th-century Gothic castle and its brewery, Browar Namysłów, which dates back to the Middle Ages. The historic Old Town is surrounded by fragments of the city walls and features Gothic churches and a Renaissance Town Hall. The town is situated on the Widawa River, offering easy on the eye landscapes. Namysłów is accessible by car or train from Wrocław and Opole. A visit is interesting year-round, especially in summer to enjoy the beer gardens and the knights' tournament.
