The central feature of this unusual urban park is a decommissioned Antonov An-2 aircraft, permanently installed on a pedestal. The park was designed thematically to match the name of the Aerodrom (Airport) district, commemorating the aviation history of the region. The aircraft briefly served as a small cafe and was later repurposed as a monument and a climbing object for children. In addition to the striking plane, the park has well-maintained green spaces, playgrounds, and benches, making it a popular meeting point for families and young people. The installation of the plane symbolizes the modern character of the neighborhood, which was expanded as a planned city after the 1963 earthquake. It is one of the most photographed landmarks in eastern Skopje and gives the public space a unique visual identity.
