The ruins of Useldange Castle overlook the Attert Valley and are freely accessible at any time. A pedagogical path leads through the 12th-century ruins, explaining medieval building research - good for families.
Typical hours
As a ruin with no locked gates, there are no opening hours - access is possible around the clock. A daytime visit is recommended to better see the stonemasonry details.
Photography
Photography is allowed everywhere on site, and the easy on the eye location above the valley gives wonderful shots. Please do not climb on the endangered wall remains to preserve the building fabric.
Time needed
Exploring the ruins and the pedagogical path takes about 30 to 45 minutes. Those combining it with a picnic in the area should allow at least one hour.

Getting there
The ruins are accessible by car via the N7 and then Rue du Château; parking is at the foot of the hill. On foot, from Useldange center, it's about a 15-minute uphill walk.
