The Sebes-Körös River is easily accessible via the rural road network in Eastern Hungary. Many of the bridges, weirs, and small villages on the banks serve as straightforward entry points for nature lovers and anglers.
Best season
The warm and often dry months from May to September offer the best conditions for excursions and water sports activities. In early spring, the river often experiences high water levels due to snowmelt in the mountains.

The paths along the banks are predominantly flat but frequently consist of natural trails or dike crests. Paved promenades are rare, which invites extended hikes in an intact floodplain landscape.
What to bring
