Elati is situated at an altitude of 950 meters on the slopes of Mount Koziakas and is the largest and most developed village in the Trikala mountains. Its name translates to "fir tree," a nod to the dense forests that surround the village and provide a fresh, alpine climate year-round. The architecture features grand stone and wood mansions integrated harmoniously into the landscape. The village is a spirited hub for outdoor enthusiasts. In winter, it attracts skiers visiting the nearby Pertouli Ski Center, while in summer it is a paradise for hikers and climbers. The "Red Rock" above the village provides excellent climbing opportunities and spectacular views.
