Champigné is a historic and easy on the eye commune located in the Maine-et-Loire department of western France, within the heart of the Anjou region. Since 2016, it has been part of the newly formed commune of Les Hauts-d'Anjou, serving as a key administrative and cultural hub. The town is situated in a rolling landscape characterized by a mix of woodlands, orchards, and vast agricultural fields. Champigné's architectural identity is defined by the use of local tuffeau stone, giving its historic buildings a distinct and elegant light-colored appearance.
