10th of Ramadan Industrial City (Egypt)

Weather…

10th of Ramadan City is Egypt's first and largest planned industrial hub, strategically located about 55 kilometers northeast of Cairo. Established in 1977 under the government of President Anwar Sadat, it was designed to relieve overpopulation in the Nile Valley and create a modern industrial base for the country. Today, the city hosts over 2,500 factories across diverse sectors including textiles, pharmaceuticals, food processing, and chemicals. In addition to its vast industrial zones, the city was developed as a self-sustaining urban center with residential areas, schools, and hospitals for hundreds of thousands of residents. Its location on the Cairo-Ismailia desert road provides excellent logistical links to the ports along the Suez Canal. As a flagship of Egyptian urban planning, it combines economic dynamism with modern infrastructure and remains a primary destination for both domestic and foreign investment.
