Head to Krnički Porat (8km away) for the freshest and most famous scampi in the Adriatic.

Water temperature…
Kavran is located on a hill about 150 meters above sea level and gives one of the best views in Istria of the islands of Cres and Lošinj. The village has preserved its rustic character but is increasingly being discovered as a secret tip for those seeking peace. The coast below Kavran is rocky and wild, with numerous small bays accessible only on foot or by boat. The area is convenient for nature lovers. Narrow paths lead through dense maquis down to the crystal-clear water. Nearby is the Budava bay, known for its fish farming and protected location. Kavran is also an excellent starting point for excursions to Pula, which is only about 20 kilometers away, or to the Kap Kamenjak Nature Park. Culinarily, one can enjoy excellent Istrian cuisine in Kavran and the surrounding villages, from seafood to homemade pasta (fuži) with game ragout. Accommodations are mostly private holiday homes, often with sea views. Those looking for a combination of rural silence and proximity to the wild Adriatic will find it in Kavran.
