Loborika is located just 7 kilometers northeast of Pula in the green hinterland of southern Istria. The village has preserved its rural charm and has become a hub for gourmets and nature lovers. The town is particularly famous for Loborika cheese, produced according to traditional recipes and valued throughout Croatia for its quality. Many visitors come here to taste homemade products at local agrotourism farms. For sports enthusiasts, Loborika is a key destination because of its equestrian club. Here, beginners and advanced riders can take horseback trips through the Istrian macchia and pine forests. The flat karst landscape around the village is also excellent for extensive bike tours and walks away from large tourist crowds. Proximity to Pula Airport makes the town a practical starting point for travelers. Historically, Loborika was inhabited as early as Roman times, evidenced by archaeological finds in the area. Today, the village gives a blend of old stone houses and modern holiday villas with pools. In the center of the village stands the Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a meeting point for the local community. The tranquility of the village provides a well-suited contrast to the lively atmosphere of nearby Pula.
